Three-day ski weekend for companies

Three days, two nights : the only format that lets you run genuine working sessions and ski and bond the team, without any of the three being sacrificed or rushed.

What the second night changes

The format where you stop rushing

The gap between two and three days is not one third more. It is far larger than that.

Over two days, the first half-day is eaten by travel and check-in, the last by departure : what actually remains is one full day. Over three days you have two — and above all one complete middle day, free of timing constraints, where a serious working morning can be followed by a real afternoon on the slopes.

The second evening plays a particular role : the first breaks the ice, the second is where conversations go further. That is why companies integrating new teams, bringing several sites together or working through a merger almost always choose this format.

AfternoonFirst run or snowshoe walk : getting a feel for the mountainMain team building : laser biathlon, snow olympics, husky sleddingDeparture

Over three days there is time to get high — and that is usually what participants talk about afterwards.

The rule we apply : work on the morning of Day 2, when the group is rested, acclimatised and already relaxed by the first evening. A plenary scheduled on arrival day almost never delivers what was expected of it.

Best suited to

When this format is the right one

01

Integrating new teams

After a hiring wave, an acquisition or a merger : three days is the minimum for people who do not know each other to work together without forcing it.

02

Bringing sites together

When teams travel in from different cities or countries, the cost of the journey only makes sense over a stay long enough to get something out of it.

03

Building a strategic plan

One working morning is not enough to build a roadmap. Two sessions separated by a day produce markedly better decisions.

04

Rewarding meaningfully

For a top performers club or a reward trip, duration is part of the gift. Two nights in a resort carry a different perceived value from one.

Not to be confused

Company trip or works council trip ?

This page covers the corporate seminar weekend : the company takes its teams away, decides the programme and pays for it. It is a management tool.

If instead you are looking for a ski weekend to offer to employees, with individual sign-ups and a subsidy from the French works council (CSE), the logic is different — per-person pricing, registration management, committee funding. That is another business, and we have a dedicated service for it.

Frequently asked

Three-day ski weekend : your questions

Does it have to fall on a weekend ?

The word describes the length, not the days. Most of our three-day trips run midweek : Wednesday to Friday, or Monday to Wednesday. Resorts are far quieter and rates better. Encroaching on employees’ personal weekends also remains a sensitive point : midweek, attendance is better and the question does not arise.

How much working time can you realistically fit in ?

A full morning on Day 2 plus a wrap-up session on Day 3 : roughly one day of effective work. Beyond that the trip becomes a conventional working seminar and the mountain setting stops earning its place — you may as well stay in a room near the office.

Do two nights double the budget compared with two days ?

No. Most of the increase sits on the extra night and the associated catering ; transport, lift passes, equipment and supervision do not rise in the same proportion. Measured per useful day, the three-day format is often the most efficient of the three.

Can we mix employees and clients ?

Yes, and it is a common use of this format : the length allows time reserved for internal teams and time shared with guests. We then build two programme tracks, converging at meals and evenings.

Three days that count

Headcount, possible dates, objective and budget per person : we come back with a complete programme, resort and accommodation included.
