Organise your company’s ski trip in the Alps
Three days at altitude do what twelve meetings never will : get teams out of the office, mix departments and build shared memories. We design and run your corporate ski trip end to end, in the French Alps.
⛰ Northern French Alps
📅 December → April
✈ 1–2h from Geneva & Lyon
The mountain does the work a meeting room cannot
A corporate ski trip is not an ordinary offsite with chairlifts added. It works through its own mechanics.
The resort closes the group in. Once everyone has arrived, people don’t scatter in the evening the way they do in a city. Meals, evenings and chairlift rides all become informal moments where departments finally talk to each other.
Skiing resets the hierarchy. On a slope, seniority and job titles stop counting. The intern who has skied since childhood guides the beginner director — a reversal that leaves traces long after everyone is back at their desk.
Finally, the season works in your favour : midweek and outside French school holidays, resorts are quiet, accommodation is available and terms are far better than in peak season.

Which format for your ski trip ?
The right format follows your objective : reward, bond, or work. These are the three that work best in a resort.
Ski incentive day
One day, no overnight stay. A short format to reward a team or launch a sales season, leaving from Annecy, Geneva, Chambéry or Lyon.
Two-day ski seminar
Two days, one night : the most requested format. Long enough for a real team evening, short enough to fit a budget and a calendar.
Three-day ski weekend
Three days, two nights. The format that lets you alternate genuine working sessions, skiing and team building without rushing.
Activities where everyone plays
This is what sinks most poorly prepared corporate ski trips : in any company group, a quarter to half of the participants do not ski, or do not want to. Every activity below works without knowing how to ski.
Laser biathlon
Team relay and rifle shooting. The most unifying activity : learned in minutes, fiercely competitive, and the best skier does not necessarily win.
Husky sledding
A first run with a musher, then guided driving. Strong emotional impact, ideal to open or close a trip.
Snowshoeing
Guided walks through forest or open plateau, in small groups. The format where people genuinely talk.
Snow olympics
Rotating workshops in mixed teams : sledging, shooting, skill and cohesion challenges. The classic that scales from 20 to 300 people.
Igloo building
A genuine cooperation exercise : without assigned roles, the igloo collapses. The debrief writes itself.
Torchlight descent
Closing the evening, led by instructors and followed by mulled wine. The image participants keep and share.

Each activity has its own constraints of duration, group size and weather. See the full guide to team building on snow →
Which resort should you choose ?
We only work with resorts where our teams live all year round. Each destination has its own dedicated site, with its meeting rooms, accommodation and activities in detail.

How to choose your resort: the five criteria, transfer times and full comparison →
The right moment in the season
The week you choose affects your budget more than the resort you choose. French school holidays are the dividing line.
January, outside holidays
The best window : good snow, empty resorts, wide availability and the strongest negotiating position.
February
Avoid. Four rolling weeks of French school holidays : peak rates and almost no group accommodation.
March
The other good window, and the most enjoyable : snow at altitude, sunshine and long days.
Timing weighs more on your budget than the choice of resort. See the season month by month, the best weekdays and how far ahead to book →
From your first call to the debrief
We scope
Objective, headcount, budget, possible dates, share of non-skiers. One conversation usually rules out half the options.
We propose
A costed proposal covering resort, accommodation, meeting room, activities and transfers : one quote, not six suppliers to coordinate.
We organise
Bookings, lift passes, equipment, instructors, catering, bad-weather plan. You approve, we execute.
We are on site
A coordinator stays with you throughout. They absorb the surprises, so you don’t have to.
An agency based in the Alps
seminaires-ski.com is the corporate ski division of Takamaka, an incoming agency based in Annecy, France.
We are not a broker reselling packages : our teams live and work all year round in the resorts we take you to. That is what lets us know which meeting room genuinely fits 80 people, which hotel lives up to its photographs, and which supplier still answers the phone on a Friday evening.
We have been designing seminars, incentives and outdoor team building for more than twenty-five years, summer and winter, across the northern French Alps.
What companies ask us most
Some of my team don’t ski. Is that a problem ?
No, and it is the normal situation : in a company group, between a quarter and half of participants typically do not ski. We always build a two-track programme, with shared highlights — laser biathlon, snowshoeing, husky sledding, a mountain restaurant lunch — where everyone comes together. A successful corporate ski trip is never one where all you do is ski.
How far in advance should we book ?
Allow three to six months for a group of more than 40 people, because large-capacity accommodation and meeting rooms go early. For a small group or a single incentive day, a few weeks is often enough. The best terms come from booking in autumn for January or March.
What if there is no snow ?
We favour high-altitude resorts and areas secured by snowmaking, and every programme comes with a written fallback plan before you arrive : indoor activities, spa, workshops, valley outings. In practice a corporate ski trip is never cancelled for lack of snow ; it is adapted.
What group sizes do you handle ?
From 10 to 300 participants. Below 20 we tend to recommend chalet formats ; above 100, the choice of resort becomes decisive, because few properties can house everyone in one place — and a group split across three residences loses most of the effect you were looking for.
Are lift passes and equipment included ?
Yes : lift passes, equipment hire, group lessons for beginners and supervision are all part of the proposal. You receive a single quote covering accommodation, catering, meeting rooms, activities and transfers, and one invoice at the end.
Do you work in English ?
Yes. Our coordinators work in French and English, and instructors who speak English are booked as standard for international groups. Proposals, programmes and invoices can all be issued in English.
